Joint Region Marianas Sets TCCOR 3 for Military Installations

ASAN, Guam (Oct. 15, 2026) – Joint Region Marianas (JRM) established Tropical Cyclone Condition of Readiness (TCCOR) 3 at 5 p.m. today for all military installations on Guam as Tropical Depression 29W approaches the Marianas.

TCCOR 3 indicates sustained winds of 50 knots (57 mph) or greater are possible within 48 hours.

Service members and their families are encouraged to continue storm preparations, including securing outdoor items, clearing drainage areas and ensuring adequate supplies of food, water and necessary medications. Residents should also prepare for potential power outages and monitor official sources for updates.

JRM continues to closely monitor Tropical Depression 29W and will provide additional updates as conditions change.
